Stamp Duty (on Mortgage Credit)
If you use financing for the purchase of the new home, you must count on this tax, when the loan amount is available in the current account. Thus, from the moment you receive the requested amount, you will have to bear Stamp Tax on the amount of credit, applicable according to the term of the loan:
If it is up to 5 years old, the incidence is 0,50%; For more than 5 years the rate of 0,60% applies. Only interest on loans granted for the acquisition, construction or housing work (permanent or secondary) is exempt from Stamp Duty.
